Each year Self–Realization Fellowship monks and nuns visit cities around the world to conduct lecture tours, member programs, and regional retreats.

Lecture tours offer an introduction for newcomers to the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, and in–depth guidance in the SRF meditation techniques for Lessons students. Member programs and retreats include classes on the SRF meditation techniques and provide opportunities for group meditation and satsanga (informal talks). All the programs also cover other important aspects of Paramahansa Yogananda’s teachings, including:
